Train it in TheoriaAbout the Buckley Attack
After 1. e4 Nf6 2. e5 Nd5, the Buckley Attack replaces the usual central pawn moves with 3. Na3, placing the queen's knight on the edge of the board. A plausible purpose is a later Nc4, where the knight would help support the e5-pawn. White forgoes the immediate fight for space that characterizes the main lines, and the move is generally regarded as dubious. Its origin and the identity of Buckley are unclear.
