Train it in TheoriaAbout the Swiss Gambit
The Swiss Gambit arises when White answers the symmetrical 1...f5 with 2. e4 and, after 2...fxe4 3. Nc3 Nf6, follows up with 4. g4, also called the Wagner Gambit. The pawn aims at g5 to dislodge the f6 knight and win back e4, at the cost of further loosening White's kingside. Alexander Wagner introduced it in the correspondence game Wagner–Kostin, 1910–11, and named it in a 1912 article.
