Train it in TheoriaAbout the Krejcik Gambit
The Krejcik Gambit grows out of the Walkerling Variation, 3. f3, which shores up e4 but takes f3 from the king's knight and loosens White's kingside. After 3...Bc5 4. Ne2 Nc6, White plays 5. b4 and offers a pawn that either the bishop or the c6-knight can take. The aim is to drive the bishop off the diagonal toward f2, in the manner of the Evans Gambit.
