Train it in TheoriaAbout the Walker Variation
The Walker Variation is White's alternative to the usual 4. exd5 against the Lewis Countergambit. White recaptures on d5 with the bishop, and after 4...Nf6 plays 5. d4, hitting the c5-bishop and the e5-pawn. White is a pawn up with pawns on d4 and e4. Black, to move, looks for compensation in development, the half-open d-file and pressure on the exposed d5-bishop and the e4-pawn.
