Train it in TheoriaAbout the Anti-Leningrad
This line arises from the Alapin Variation, 2. Qd3, where the queen eyes the f5-pawn. Black replies 2...g6, preparing a Leningrad setup with ...Bg7. White answers with the Manhattan Gambit thrust 3. g4 regardless. The g-pawn hits f5 and is offered for open kingside lines and quick play against Black's king. The queen's early sortie and the loosened white kingside make this a sharp, offbeat choice rather than an established main line.
