Train it in TheoriaAbout the Wimpy System
The Wimpy System is a quiet branch of the Agincourt Defense. White meets Black's classical pawn center with 3. b3, 4. Bb2 and 5. e3, aiming the bishop down the long diagonal while keeping the d-pawn at home. Black develops freely. 5...Nc6 is by far the usual reply, and 5...Be7 is the next most common. The engine judges the position roughly balanced, and the play is slow and strategic.
