Train it in TheoriaAbout the Zvjaginsev-Krasenkow Attack
The Zvjaginsev-Krasenkow Attack arises in the Nimzo-English, where Black pins the c3-knight with 3...Bb4. Rather than developing quietly, White answers 4. g4, a flank thrust that threatens g5 to drive the f6-knight away from its watch over e4 and d5. The pawn is unprotected, so Black may take it with 4...Nxg4, accepting a gambit in return for White's open g-file and time. The line is a sharp, offbeat alternative to the usual maneuvering play of the Nimzo-English.
