Train it in TheoriaAbout the Spielmann Variation
The Spielmann Variation is Black's tactical answer to the apparent pawn grab after 4...a6 5. Bxc6 dxc6 6. Nxe5. Because the c3 knight covers e4, Black gives up a knight with 6...Nxe4 7. Nxe4 Qd4, forking both white knights and recovering the material. After 8. O-O Qxe5 9. Re1 Be6 10. d4 Qd5 material is level. Black has doubled c-pawns and the bishop pair, while White has the d4 pawn and play along the open e-file.
