Train it in TheoriaAbout the Baeuerle Gambit
The Baeuerle Gambit answers 2. d4 with 2...b5 instead of the standard 2...d5. Black offers the b-pawn and leaves White's pawns on d4 and e4 unchallenged. Accepting with 3. Bxb5 is the most common reply. Engines also rate the developing moves 3. Nf3 and 3. Nd2 highly. The engine gives White a clear advantage, White scores well in practice, and the line is an offbeat sideline seldom seen in serious play.
