Train it in TheoriaAbout the Banzai-Leong Gambit
The Banzai-Leong Gambit meets the French Defense with 2. b4, offering the b-pawn before White has committed a pawn to d4. Accepting with 2...Bxb4 develops the dark-squared bishop with a pawn to the good, and White can then push 3. e5, the Pinova Gambit. The more common reply ignores the offer with 2...d5 and strikes at e4. The gambit is rarely seen, Black scores well in practice, and the engine rates Black as clearly better.
