Train it in TheoriaAbout the Simagin's Lesser Variation
Simagin's Lesser Variation arises in the Classical Exchange Grünfeld after 7. Bc4 O-O 8. Ne2 b6. Black does not hit d4 at once with ...c5. Instead, Black prepares to fianchetto the queen's bishop, so that both bishops bear on White's c3-d4-e4 center, with e4 the main target. The ...c5 break remains available later, but the slower approach gives White extra time to consolidate the center and complete development.
