Train it in TheoriaAbout the Lundin Variation
The Lundin Variation is a branch of the 4. Bg5 Grünfeld, also called the Stockholm Variation. Black meets the bishop sortie with 4...Ne4, which attacks both the g5-bishop and the c3-knight. After 5. Nxe4 dxe4 Black has doubled e-pawns and the d-file is half-open. Following 6. Qd2, the reply 6...c5 strikes at d4 immediately, keeping with the Grünfeld approach of pressuring White's center.
