Train it in TheoriaAbout the Fraser Attack
The Fraser Attack arises from the McDonnell Defense, 5...Bc5, after 6. d4 exd4 7. O-O d6 8. cxd4 Bb6 9. Nc3 Bg4. Rather than unpinning the f3-knight, White plays 10. Qa4, which sets up a counter-pin on the c6-knight along the a4–e8 diagonal and keeps the pressure on Black's queenside. White is a pawn down but has the d4–e4 center and quick development, so the play is tactical.
