About the Levenfish Variation

The Levenfish Variation branches from the Bronstein Defense after Tartakower's 7. Qb3, which Black meets with 7...Qd7 to protect f7. White opens the d-file with 8. dxe5 dxe5, castles, and plays 10. Ba3 to keep Black's king from castling short. Black's 10...Na5 hits the queen and the c4-bishop, and 11. Nxe5 regains the gambit pawn while attacking the d7-queen and f7, leaving material level with Black to move.
