A sharp Two Knights line in the Modern Variation where Black gives up a piece to drive White's king to f1 and attack it with the queen on h4.
Train it in TheoriaAbout the Keidansky Variation
The Keidansky Variation arises from the Modern Variation of the Open Two Knights, 5. e5 d5 6. Bb5 Ne4. Black meets 7. Nxd4 with 7...Bc5 and, after 8. Nxc6, plays 8...Bxf2+ 9. Kf1 Qh4 instead of recapturing. Black accepts a deficit of material to keep White's king from castling, and the queen and the knight on e4 then press against the exposed king. White aims to consolidate and convert the extra material, so the play is highly tactical.
