Train it in TheoriaAbout the Trencianske-Teplice Gambit
The Trencianske-Teplice Gambit is White's 6. d4 in the Traxler Variation, also known as the Wilkes-Barre Variation, after the bishop capture 5. Bxf7+ Ke7. The king normally goes to e7 because 5...Kf8 would shut in the h8-rook. Already a pawn ahead, White attacks the c5-bishop and offers the d-pawn to open lines while the black king is stuck on e7. The move also frees the c1-bishop. The play that follows is sharp and forcing.
