Train it in TheoriaAbout the Myers Variation
The Myers Variation is the central treatment of the Kádas Opening against 1...d5. Rather than continuing on the wing, White plays 2. d4. After 2...c5, White adds 3. e4 to set up pawns on d4 and e4. Black's c- and d-pawns already confront that center, so tension arises at once. Material is level, and the early h-pawn move leaves White's kingside loosened in an otherwise open game.
