Train it in TheoriaAbout the Blackburne Gambit
The Blackburne Gambit is a branch of the Allgaier Gambit. After the knight sacrifice 6. Nxf7 Kxf7, White continues with 7. Nc3, developing the queen's knight and adding support to e4. White is a full piece down and relies on the displaced black king, the half-open f-file and rapid development. The Allgaier tends to succeed more often in fast games than against prepared defenders, and Black can avoid the sacrifice altogether with 5...d5.
