Train it in TheoriaAbout the Bogoljubow Variation
The Bogoljubow Variation arises when White answers 3...Nf6, which hits the e4-pawn, with 4. Nc3, defending it while developing a piece. The most frequent replies are 4...Bb4, pinning the defender, and 4...c6, the Bogoljubow Defense, which prepares ...d5 to challenge the center. 4...Bc5 is also common. Engines give Black a slight edge, though White scores well in online games.
