Train it in TheoriaAbout the Eisenberg Variation
The Eisenberg Variation, also called the Eisenberg Gambit, meets the capture on f4 with 3. Nh3. The knight does not stop 3...Qh4+. Instead it prepares 4. Nf2, blocking the check so the king stays put, while also attacking the f4-pawn. The line is rarely played. Engines give Black a clear advantage, and Black scores well in practice. The check 3...Qh4+ is the most common reply, ahead of 3...Bd6 and 3...g5.
