Train it in TheoriaAbout the Silberschmidt Gambit
The Silberschmidt Gambit arises from the Salvio Gambit after 6...Nh6 7. d4, when Black plays 7...f3 instead of the steadier 7...d6. The pawn advance attacks g2 and tries to open lines near White's king on f1, while the h6-knight keeps guarding f7. The most common reply is 8. Bxh6, removing that defender. 8. gxf3 and 8. g3 are the main alternatives. Engines rate the position as roughly level. In the few recorded online games, Black has scored heavily.
