Train it in TheoriaAbout the Svenonius Variation
This variation usually arises from the Bishop's Opening after 2. Bc4 Nc6 3. Nc3 Nf6 4. d3 Bc5 5. f4, a transposition into the Classical structure. Black pins with 6...Bg4, exchanges on f3 to draw the queen forward, and only then takes the pawn with 8...exf4. White keeps the bishop pair, and the f4-pawn sits in front of both the queen on f3 and the c1-bishop.
