A King's Indian Orthodox line where White meets 9...Nd7 with 10. Be3, developing the bishop and eyeing c5 rather than first playing f3.
Train it in TheoriaAbout the Neo-Classical Line
With 10. Be3 White develops the dark-squared bishop toward the queenside, adding support for the c4-c5 break and holding back f3 for now, in contrast to the Traditional Line with 10. f3. Black nearly always answers 10...f5, starting the usual kingside pawn storm, while 10...a5 and 10...h6 are rare alternatives. The play stays sharp and double-edged, with attacks on opposite wings, and engines give White a slight edge.
