Train it in TheoriaAbout the Weber Gambit
The Weber Gambit is an aggressive answer to the Leonardis Variation, 2. d3. Black strikes at once with 2...d5 and, after 3. exd5, offers a pawn with 3...c6 instead of recapturing. After 4. dxc6 Nxc6, White is a pawn ahead, while Black has a lead in development and half-open files. The engine gives White a slight edge, but Black scores better in online games. 5. Nf3 and 5. Nc3 are the usual replies.
