Train it in TheoriaAbout the Lion Claw Gambit
The Lion Claw Gambit is the most combative way for Black to handle the Lion's Cave. After 6. Qxd4, the quiet 6...c6 prepares a central break. Once White develops with 7. Bc4, 7...d5 offers the d-pawn to open lines. The advance strikes at e4 and the c4-bishop and gains time against the centralized queen. Black also hopes to exploit the kingside White loosened with f4. The resulting play is tactical, with the initiative weighed against the material Black gives up.
