Train it in TheoriaAbout the Bücker Gambit
The Bücker Gambit answers the Bishop Attack, 3. Bc4, with the immediate 3...b5. The pawn offer tries to draw the bishop away from its diagonal toward f7 and to claim queenside space, while the fianchettoed bishop on g7 already presses on d4 along the long diagonal. If White takes on b5, Black has given up a pawn for time and queenside play. It is a rarer choice than the main replies 3...e6 and 3...d6.
