Train it in TheoriaAbout the Capablanca Variation
This line reaches the E29 Sämisch structure through a Rubinstein move order, with 4. e3 played first and 6. a3 coming later. After 8. Ne2 b6 9. e4, White has a c3-c4-d4-e4 center supported by doubled c-pawns. The retreat 9...Ne8 removes the knight before e5 or a Bg5 pin can hit it, and it frees the f-pawn to challenge e4 with ...f5. Black then aims to blockade White's center and press the c4-pawn with ...Ba6 and ...Na5.
