Train it in TheoriaAbout the Norfolk Gambit
The Norfolk Gambit arises from the 1. Nf3 d5 2. b3 move order of the Nimzo-Larsen Attack. After 2...c5, White abandons the usual slow fianchetto plan with 3. e4, offering the e-pawn to break up Black's broad center at once. Taking with 3...dxe4 also attacks the f3-knight, so White gives up time as well as a pawn in exchange for open lines and active development. It is a rarely played sideline.
