Train it in TheoriaAbout the Richter Gambit
The Richter Gambit arises when Black answers 4. d5 by retreating the knight to b8 instead of e5, and White continues with 5. f3. White does not hurry to recover the pawn on e4. The move strikes at it in the manner of the Blackmar-Diemer Gambit, seeking open lines and fast development while the black knight sits back on its home square. Meanwhile the pawn on d5 restricts Black's queenside.
