Wheeler Gambit

The Wheeler Gambit meets the Nimzowitsch Defense with 2. b4, leaving a pawn en prise to the knight on c6 in return for time and central freedom. It is rarely seen. The most frequent reply is to accept with 2...Nxb4. The second most common, 2...e5, ignores the offer and claims the center, and Black scores especially well with it. The engine rates the position as slightly better for Black, who also wins more often than White overall.
