Train it in TheoriaAbout the Sokolsky Attack
In the Sokolsky Attack, White answers Black's King's Indian setup against 1. b4 by building a full center. The moves 3. c4, 4. e3 and 5. Nf3 lead up to 6. d4, which completes a pawn chain on c4, d4 and e3 behind the b4-pawn and blunts the g7-bishop. Black most often replies 6...Nbd7, preparing ...e5. The alternative 6...Bg4 pins the f3-knight. 6...c5 strikes at the center immediately and has scored well for Black. The engine rates the position as level.
