Train it in TheoriaAbout the Miguel Gambit
The Miguel Gambit, 3. b4, answers the less common 2...Bc5 by offering the b-pawn to pull Black's bishop away from the a7–g1 diagonal. The idea resembles the Evans Gambit: after the natural capture 3...Bxb4, White plays 4. c3, gaining a tempo on the bishop and preparing d4 to establish pawns on e4 and d4. With no knights developed yet, the play is irregular and rarely seen at a serious level.
