Train it in TheoriaAbout the Grand Prix Pterodactyl
This line arises when White answers the Modern Defense with 2. Nc3 and 3. f4. The pawn setup resembles both the Austrian Attack against the Pirc and the Grand Prix Attack against the Sicilian. Black replies 3...c5 and 4...Qa5. With d2 still empty, the queen pins the c3-knight to the king, and the g7-bishop adds pressure along the long diagonal. White has not yet played d4 and keeps a kingside-oriented setup with pawns on e4 and f4.
