Fianchetto, Queen Pterodactyl

In this line White answers the Pterodactyl setup with a kingside fianchetto of his own, 1. d4 g6 2. Nf3 Bg7 3. g3 c5 4. Bg2, rather than building a broad center with c4 and e4. Black challenges d4 with ...c5 and then checks with 4...Qa5+. White must deal with the check before completing development. Meanwhile, the queen and the g7-bishop combine against the dark squares on the queenside.
