Train it in TheoriaAbout the Yefimov Gambit
The Yefimov Gambit, 4...b5, reinforces Black's extra pawn on c4 with the b-pawn rather than letting White regain it with Bxc4. The result is a queenside pawn chain facing White's d5–e4 center. The most common reply, 5. a4, strikes at the chain immediately. The second choice, 5. Nc3, develops a piece and also bears on b5. The line is seldom played. The engine gives White a clear advantage, and White scores well in online games.
