Train it in TheoriaAbout the Rashkovsky Attack
The Rashkovsky Attack is the Modern Variation's queen check, 7. Qa4+, and one of several named White seventh moves after 6...Nxd5. White plays it instead of the quieter 7. e3 or 7. Qc2. Black must answer it before continuing development, either by moving the king or by interposing on the a4–e8 diagonal. Each block costs something: it commits a piece or pawn, or it shuts the b7-bishop off its long diagonal.
