Train it in TheoriaAbout the Farago Defense
The Farago Defense, 4...Ba6 5. Qc2 Bb7, uses the attack on c4 to draw White's queen to c2 before the bishop returns to the long diagonal. The bishop has moved twice, but White has also spent a move on the queen, so Black reaches the usual ...Bb7 setup with White's queen already committed. From c2 the queen supports e2-e4, and the struggle still centers on control of e4, as elsewhere in the Petrosian Variation.
