Train it in TheoriaAbout the Harding Gambit
The Harding Gambit is White's natural-looking but faulty answer to the queen fork in the Spanish Countergambit. White takes the c6-knight with 5. Nxc6 instead of retreating. Black ignores the knight, and 5...Qxg2 6. Rf1 Qxe4+ 7. Qe2 Qxe2+ 8. Kxe2 leaves White's piece stranded on c6. Black then recovers it with ...a6, ...Bd7 and ...bxc6 and finishes a pawn ahead. White avoids all this with 5. Nf3, meeting 5...Qxg2 with 6. Rg1.
