The Spraggett Attack is one of two named answers to 6...Qb6 in the Kan Wing Attack. In Christiansen's Dream White defends the d4-knight with 7. Be3. Here White instead withdraws it with 7. Nf3, ending the pressure on d4 without committing the dark-squared bishop. The b6-queen is left with no immediate target. Material is level, Black is to move, and the c- and d-files are half-open.
