The Chenoboskion Variation of the Sodium Attack arises after 1. Na3 g6 2. g4. Black's 1...g6 signals a kingside fianchetto, and White answers with a second flank move, pushing the g-pawn two squares to claim space on the wing where Black's bishop is heading. Neither the knight nor the pawn affects the center, so Black keeps a free hand there. The line has almost no theory and is a surprise weapon.
