Train it in TheoriaAbout the Nowokunski Gambit
The Nowokunski Gambit arises when White meets 1...e5 with 2. f4 and, after 2...exf4, builds the center with 3. e4. Black keeps the extra pawn on f4. The resulting position resembles a King's Gambit Accepted in which White's queen's knight, not the king's knight, has been developed first. White plays for quick development and use of the half-open f-file. Black must decide whether to hold the pawn or return it for easy development.
