Train it in TheoriaAbout the Sleipnir Gambit
The Sleipnir Gambit, named after the fanciful Sleipnir nickname for 1. Nc3, begins when White answers 1...d5 with the modest 2. e3, which prevents ...d4. Black responds by claiming the center with 2...e5. After 3. d4, Black does not exchange or defend the e5-pawn. Instead 3...Bb4 pins the c3-knight, leaving e5 open to capture by dxe5 in return for quick development and pressure on White's queenside.
