A joke line of the Van Geet Opening in which White answers 1...c5 with 2. Rb1, an aimless rook move played mainly to taunt the opponent.
Train it in TheoriaAbout the Twyble Attack
The Twyble Attack, 1. Nc3 c5 2. Rb1, sets aside the normal continuations 2. e4 and 2. Nf3 in favor of a rook move that does nothing for development or for the fight over the center. Moving the rook also gives up the right to castle queenside. The line is regarded as a meme variation, chosen to mock or provoke an opponent rather than to gain anything from the opening, and Black is left free to develop as desired.
