Train it in TheoriaAbout the Adams' Gambit
Adams' Gambit is White's alternative to 6. Nb5 in the Stanley Variation line 3. Bc4 Nxe4 4. Qh5 Nd6 5. Bb3 Nc6. Rather than steering toward the Frankenstein-Dracula complications, White strikes at e5 with 6. d4 and allows Black to keep the extra pawn. The compensation lies in Black's cramped development, with the knight on d6 still tied to the defense of f7. The line is named after Weaver Adams.
