Train it in TheoriaAbout the Heyde Variation
The Heyde Variation is a branch of the Falkbeer line of the Vienna Game. After 4...Nxe4, White plays 5. Qf3, which deals with the threat of ...Qh4+ and threatens to win a pawn with Nxe4 dxe4 Qxe4. Black answers 5...f5 to support the knight on e4. White then plays 6. d4, backing up the advanced e5-pawn. The e- and f-files are half-open, and the line is seldom seen in practice.
