About the Regina-Nu Gambit

The Regina-Nu Gambit comes from a Nimzo-Larsen setup after 1. Nf3 d5 2. b3 c5. White strikes with 3. c4, and after 3...dxc4 plays 4. Nc3, developing rather than recovering the pawn at once. Black is a pawn up, but that pawn belongs to a doubled pair on c5 and c4, and the d-file is now half-open. White plays for development and central control, and the b3-pawn still bears on c4.
