In the Central Storming Variation, White meets the delayed recapture 5...g6 6. Nc3 Bxa6 with 7. f4. The f-pawn joins the d5-pawn in the center before the kingside pieces are developed, in preparation for a further central advance. Black's two main replies are 7...Bg7, the most common and Black's better-scoring choice, and 7...d6. The line is seldom played, and engines judge it roughly balanced.
