A rare, sharp Benko Gambit sideline in which White plants a knight on b5 and supports e4 rather than retreating, while Black keeps attacking chances.
Train it in TheoriaAbout the Nescafe Frappe Attack
In this line of the Zaitsev System, White meets 6...b4 by planting the knight on b5 with 7. Nb5 instead of retreating it. The e4-pawn looks loose, but 7...Nxe4? 8. Qe2 Nf6?? allows 9. Nd6#. After 7...d6 8. Bc4, Black usually fianchettoes with 8...g6 or plays 8...Nbd7; 8...Ba6 has scored poorly. The line is seldom played, and engines slightly favor Black.
