Train it in TheoriaAbout the Mujannah Formation
The Mujannah Formation arises when Black answers 2. d5 in the Old Benoni with 2...f5. Because White has not yet played c2-c4, Black has the option of this early ...f5. The pawn contests e4 and stakes out kingside space, though it loosens Black's king position. White most often replies 3. c4, with 3. Nc3 next; 3. e4 offers a pawn in the Benoni-Staunton Gambit. The engine gives White a clear advantage, while online results are much closer.
