Train it in TheoriaAbout the Studier Attack
The Studier Attack, 8. Qe1, is White's most common treatment of the Bogoljubow Defense. The queen heads for h4, after which Bh6 trades off the fianchettoed bishop and White builds pressure against the castled king, willing to give up the d4- and c2-pawns as well. The critical reply is 8...Nc6 9. Qh4 Bg4, after which White's compensation is doubtful, and the engine gives Black a clear advantage. White nonetheless scores well in online play.
